How to use
How to use
To make the perfect matcha, start by sifting 1-2 teaspoons of matcha into a bowl using a fine sieve to remove any lumps. Heat water to about 175°F (80°C), avoiding boiling temperatures to prevent bitterness. Add a few tablespoons of the warm water to the sifted matcha and mix it into a smooth paste. Once combined, pour in 2-3 ounces (60-90 ml) of hot water and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk in a quick zigzag motion (M or W shape) until a frothy layer forms on top. If you prefer a traditional matcha, enjoy it immediately, or for a matcha latte, add frothed milk—such as soy, oat, almond, or dairy—and sweeten to taste.
