Vanessa is a dedicated tattoo artist with a profound passion for art and design, specializing in creating tattoos for a diverse clientele. Born and raised in Vancouver, Vanessa began her career in Graphic Design after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She initially spent five years in magazine publishing before transitioning into the tattoo industry.

With over 12 years of experience, Vanessa has developed a distinctive expertise in black and grey floral tattoo work. Her extensive travels have taken her to renowned tattoo destinations, including Copenhagen, Germany, Sweden, Portland, Los Angeles, and various cities across North America.

Vanessa is committed to crafting unique tattoos tailored to each individual. She does this by free-handing the design right on the client’s skin. She meticulously considers every aspect of her designs to ensure that the final artwork harmoniously complements the client’s body, with a balanced and detailed approach.

In addition to her custom tattoo work, Vanessa excels in scar cover-up projects. Her goal is to transform undesired marks into exquisite pieces of art, providing meaningful artwork that the client is proud to wear. 

Relocating to Victoria represents the realization of a long-held aspiration for Vanessa. She looks forward to establishing her roots in the city. Outside of her professional life, Vanessa treasures spending time with her wife, Kerri, and their two children, Emma and Theron. She has an enthusiastic interest in science and space, is a loyal Canucks fan, and loves good reality television.
